Title: Leon's beginnings

Summary: Leon's thoughts as he unknowingly enters one of the greatest terrors he will ever face
Author's note: I've given Sherry's start my own little twist so here's my take on how Leon got involved and what he was thinking on his way in. I know it's short but in all fairness so is the opening in the actual game, and Leon's backstory is pretty thin. But enoug with that on to the fic!

"Way to go son!" his father had said while giving him a hearty pat on the shoulder. "Glad your carrying on the family tradition little bro" stated his big brother. "Oh/ I'm so proud of you, but be careful Leon" His mother said had said while smiling. "Don't worry mom I will" He retorted.
Leon thought back on his police graduation day the while smiling, as he made his way to the police station he'd been sent to. It was a tradition in his family for becoming a cop, to the point to where it was almost a rite of passage. His Great Great Grandfather, Grandfather, Dad, and older brother had all been officer's of the law.
So once Leon graduated high school his career seemed pre-determined to him. However he didn't go through two months of grueling training just to carry on a family legacy, no from a young age he always felt a need to protect the innocent.
Becoming an officer to him was the way to fulfill that need. Leon ran his fingers through his blond hair anxiously as he passed a sign in his jeep that read "Entering Raccoon City".
"Raccon City my name's Leon and today's my first day as an R.P.D officer, nice to meet you" Leon said smiling.
As he neared the city limits, the first few domino's of his fate began falling into place. Resulting in him taking the inevitably unavoidable path of his destiny.
Yep that's my version of RE, I'm thinking about doing a series of these short fic going into their thoughts at certain parts of the game. But idk what to think on that, well please Reveiw and send in those request if you got'em I'd be happy to write them
