His smile was small as she walked a few steps away. His bright blue eyes quivered with longing and eyebrows gathered in yearning. She turned and the wind blew her long black hair around her face as if a voice were calling. His face was creased with worry and she longed to reach out and make it smooth.

Leaves swirled and the wind began to push her closer instead of away. She couldn't help it any longer. She ran to him and threw her copper arms around his neck. He beamed and hugged her tightly.

"I can't leave." She whispered.

"Then never, ever…try." He whispered back. The wind picked up and a small hummingbird teetered nearby. She looked up and his brilliant cerulean eyes pleaded with her. Then she slowly leaned in and kissed him. Their lips met carefully, lovingly, and most of all sweetly.

The wind swept by and called her name:

Pocahontas

Small scene written upon impulse after movie. ^^
