Years ago, this is dedicated to Wally's Girlfriend. She wanted Konohamaru to have a crush on Naruto in my story 'You're Cute When You Scream' so I wrote this for her. Hope you enjoy! It's just a drabble-like story in Konohamaru's POV.
I've seen the way they act together. They fight, but they really do care for one-another. Naruto-niichan told me that Sakura liked Sasuke, and Sasuke ignores her, while Naruto-niichan likes Sakura, and Sakura ignores him. Well, there's something I never told him.
I like Naruto, but he ignores me. Well, he doesn't ignore me, but he ignores my feelings. I loved hanging out with him, and I pretended that I just saw him as an older brother, but the reality is, I really, really like him! He inspires me. And even though he has so many flaws, he doesn't let them get in the way of anything he does. And the way he treats people, he's so kind and he tries to find the good in everyone. I wish I could be like that, but it's not that easy. Naruto had so much done to him in the past, I sometimes wonder how he goes on, and how he continues to help and care for people.
It's been seven years since I've met him, and it seems like forever.
Naruto, I give you so much credit, and I hope someday, you'll notice me, and look at me the way I look at you. But it's just a dream. Never mind being Hokage, I want you to love me. That's my dream.
But for now, I'm okay with just being your friend. If it's all I can have right now, then so be it.
