Inuyasha was dead and there was nothing she could do about it. She sat alone in her room with the radio on. A sad song started to play.

The song ended and Kagome wiped away the tears running down her face. She got up off her bed and walked to the window. She looked down at the Tree of Ages that Inuyasha had been sealed to. For a short second, she swore she saw Inuyasha standing in front of the tree looking up at her with a smile on his face. A smile quickly spread on her face. She relized that even though his body was gone, his spirit still right beside her and that thought made her really smile.
