Just a small fluffy piece I wrote. This could be considered romance, I suppose, but I think of it as just strong friendship. It's really up to you. Please review!

Harry stared wordlessly at the ruin that Hogwarts had become; a mere shadow of the place he had loved and longed for as he grew, the place he had counted as a sanctuary. The place too many had died on his behalf, because of mistakes he had made. He was falling, floundering in a ruthless sea that he had no control over.

"Harry?" He turned. Coming towards him was a young woman with blonde hair, her normal spacey look replaced with a concerned frown. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Harry was lying, and he knew it. The woman raised her eyebrows sceptically. "Really Luna, don't worry – I'm fine."

"You're not." This was a statement, a mere observation that could not be contradicted. Harry felt annoyed at that, there was no way to deny it.

"I will be." That much was certain. "But, well – I wish there was some way I could change what happened. Um, it could have been quicker…"

"There's something else as well, isn't there?" Luna was quick to prompt.

"Too many people died for me. It should have been me – not countless others." There, the truth was out now. All he could do was sit and wait for Luna to say something.

He was therefore surprised when Luna said nothing, but just placed her hand on his arm. They sat in silence for a couple of minutes, before the blonde turned to him, a troubled expression on her face.

"Is that really how you feel?"

Feeling confused, Harry nodded. Of course it should have been him, that way he would have saved thousands.

"Because d'you think that Voldemort would have kept his promise? Once you were gone, what was to stop him from killing the rest of us?"

"The love protection." It was a simple answer, but Luna knew what he meant.

"Harry, no – he would have killed you in a way where it was not a sacrifice you made, because he would give you no choice to get away."

Harry nodded. "Luna – thanks."

Luna smiled down at him. "Just needed to get rid of the Wrackspurts."

But Harry could tell she was pleased.
