Merry Christmas Bex ;)
Love is a weird thing. It always strikes those who aren´t expecting it, cupid or whatever, (because I don´t believe in the hormones theory) is always in that unnoticed corner, lurking around, waiting for its next victims...I mean...the next lucky couple.
In that Christmas morning, the chosen ones were James and Lily Evans. They fought more than people ever thought would be possible, so I why not make them fall in love with each other? It will not only save them for getting in trouble, but also other people from headaches.
Just a normal day in their lives and just another meaningless discussion was going on the grounds of Hogwarts...
"You had no right to say that!" Lily was screaming. "And that joke? It could have gone very bad, and..."
"Do you want to go out some time?" James suddenly blurted out, blushing a bit.
"I...What?" Lily looked like she´d been said the pigs could fly.
"Go out, maybe next week in the Hogsmead trip, with me?" He asked more confident.
"You can´t do this!" She said indignantly.
"Do what Evans?"
"This! We were arguing and you just ask me out?" She said angrier than ever.
"Well I don´t want to argue with you anymore..." He took a step closer, staying less than one feet way, they could hear each other heartbeats. "So...what do you say?"
"I...okay." She said, now more calm, what James had said had made her fell...strange.
"Okay you want to go?"
"Yes."
James face lighted up with happiness, a smile appeared on his face, which made Lily´s heart skip a beat.
"Okay then. Next Saturday, in the Tree Broomsticks, please be there."
"I will." She said with a small smile.
They stood there smiling at each other until James leaned down and kissed Lily on the cheek and walked away, anxious for their date.
