The seconds ticked by excruciatingly slowly as I stared unblinkingly at the clock. There was only five minutes left of class, but they couldn't be going any slower. Junior level geometry wasn't exactly the epitome of hard subjects when one had passed it numerous times already.

Oh, Edward, a breathy voice moaned. My eyes shot wide open. I glanced around the room, hopefully imperceptible to the others in the class, and I found Jessica Stanley, whose voice I now recognised as the one I'd heard in my head. She was sitting with her head resting on her hand, her eyes glazed over. I stifled a laugh.

Jessica, followed by a low guttural groan dashed into my mind. I frowned. It was a smoother, lower version of my voice. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. An unwelcome image of me, albeit a me with warmer, softer skin, kissing Jessica's jaw line while my hand inched slowly up her thigh darted into my head.

I shut my eyes tightly in futile defence against the image. The image of me had proceeded to kiss Jessica fully on the mouth, so I hurriedly began reeling off pi.
Three point one, four, one, five, nine, two, six- The volume of her thoughts, however, made them hard to ignore, and unwanted phrases kept popping into my head.
My parents aren't home, you know-
Five, three, five, eight, nine, seven, nine, three, two, three, eight-
Shall we take this to your room, baby?- I scoffed involuntarily, and paused in my recitation to consider how utterly absurd that phrase sounded escaping from my lips. An image of Jessica unbuttoning her shirt floated across my mind.
Four, six, two, six, four, three, three- The bell cut across my thoughts, and I left the classroom far more quickly than was wise. If this kept up, this class was going to become acutely uncomfortable.

The next day, geometry was rung in by wedding bells.
