A/N: Okay. Here's a little thing that's been bugging me for a while that I just had to write. It's all about how the Organization suffered and all the little things that they all did when Roxas left. Hope you like it.
"So, Superior, who are we sending after him?" Xaldin asked, leaning against the wall.
"Axel, maybe?" Xigbar asked, standing by the desk, in between Xemnas and Xaldin.
"No," Xaldin said. "Not Axel. He might show compassion at the wrong time this time." He leaned back in the chair, staring out the window at Kingdom Hearts.
"If I may ask, Superior," Xaldin asked, pushing away from the wall that was supporting him. "Why aren't you using Axel?"
"He has proved his worth that he doesn't have to do it again," the Superior replied after a moment. "And you know how close those two are. He might just turn."
"Then who shall we send?"
"I'm still thinking about it. But it will most likely be one of you two."
Axel sighed and put his head in his hands. He couldn't help it. Every song that he listened to reminded him of the little blonde boy. Standing up, he walked over to the window. He tried, oh, god did he try, to stop Roxas from leaving. But he just left. He never stopped walking.
He wasn't supposed to have a heart, everybody knew that. But why did he feel something important had left from where his heart was supposed to be? He couldn't get his mind around it; there was no explanation for it.
A knock came from his door. The redhead didn't say anything. He didn't want to be around anybody right now.
"Axel?" a voice asked, but it wasn't muffled by the door. It was standing right inside it, staring at the red mess of hair that was pressed against the cool window. Movement was heard as the person entered the room. Axel was getting ready to pull out his weapons to smash the person's skull in, but then found out it was Demyx.
"Hey, Axel, what's wrong? You feeling okay there?" he asked as he put a hand on the other Nobody's shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," Axel said, shaking off the question as if nothing truly life changing had happened. He leaned his head against the glass in the window.
"No, no you're not," said the dirty blonde, looking at the eye that was on his side.
"Why does he have to go?" Axel asked, removing his head from the window. "Why can't he stay?" A gloved hand flew at the glass, causing it to crack and splinter off in multiple directions from the point of contact like a spider web. After leaving his hand at the point of contact for a minute, he let it fall back to his side. As he looked at the heart-shaped moon, Axel's knees gave way.
"There, there," was all that Demyx could really say. He had no prior experience for this.
"He says that his heart is out there," Axel said after a long while. "If he stays, he'll get his heart back, won't he? WON'T HE?" He pushed Demyx against the already broken window, which creaked under the pressure.
"Axel, calm down," Demyx placed his hands on the other's shoulders. "You know how hard it is to talk to you when you're like this," With that, he was thrown back up against the glass wall, his head striking hard against it.
Slipping down to the ground, they both held each other into the deep of the night.
A/N: Okay. Hope you like it. I spent a good 80 minutes in German class to write this. And I like German class! Not as good as web page design, but still good. Please R&R!
