Ginny sighed as she sat on Hermione's bed.

"What's wrong Gin?" the bushy haired bookworm asked.

"Everything!" the red-head huffed, "My life's a disaster."

Hermione chuckled, "Now I think you're being overdramatic Gin."

"Am I? Harry hasn't payed attention to me...at all! It's always Cho this and Cho that. Urgh Hermione help meeeee!" Ginny pleaded.

"Ok ok hold on. Hmmm...Well I have an idea."

"Care to enlighten me?" Ginny asked.

"Well. Forget about Harry."

"WHAT?! How?!" Ginny exclaimed.

"Calm down Ginny. What I'm saying is...try going out with someone first. And wait for Harry. He'll come through."

"But what if he doesn't?" Ginny asked.

"Believe me. Boys are really dense when it comes to these things. Harry does have feelings for you. But he believes that they're just because you're Ron's sister. I see through it though. He likes you, A LOT."

"But I can't compare to Cho. She's so pretty, and smart, and athletic. Nothing like me."

"Ginny. Stop putting yourself down. For one thing, you're the number one student in your year. And please, you're not pretty, you're beautiful. And as for your athletic abilities. Try out for Quidditch. Harry, Fred, and George are on Quidditch suspension. I know that you've been stealing their broom when they aren't looking and praticing on your own." Hermione grinned.

Ginny blushed and hugged her friend tight, "Hermione I love you."

"Love you too Gin. Now go show those boys what you can do." Hermione winked.

Ginny laughed, "Will do Hermione!"

Ginny's POV

Months passed and soon I entered my fifth year at Hogwarts. Hermione's advice seemed to be working. Many guys have been asking me out, however I only want one boy's attention.

I went out with Michael last year but that prat was upset that we beat Ravenclaw in Quidditch and went to comfort Cho. Speaking of Cho, she completely failed at her relationship with Harry, which made me feel a little happy. I'm dating Dean Thomas now, but lately we've been arguing a lot. I'm getting tired of it. And Ron's been overprotective lately. Sigh. I can't get a break.

I'm beginning to notice that Harry's been stealing glances at me. Does that mean that he does have strong feelings for me?

Urgh. I hate being a girl.

Normal POV

"We won! We won!" Gryffindor students cheered as their Quidditch team had won the last game of the season. During the adrenaline rush Harry had grabbed Ginny and kissed her, earning mixed emotions from some of the Gryffindors.

Ron stood their, mouth gaping wide open, as he watched his best friend snogging his sister. Dean sat on there on a chair, gripping his goblet tightly as his ex kissed another guy only a few days after their break-up. Most, if not all, the Gryffindors were cheering on the couple as Hermione grinned.

They pulled apart.

"Wow..." Ginny huffed.

"I've been wanting to that in forever." Harry grinned, kissing her again.

The red-headed witch felt as though she's on cloud nine.

"About damn time." Hermione sighed.
