Prologue
Sakura lay in her bed, sobbing. Tonight was like any other night, came home from school, made dinner, did her homework but then her father…Sakura had hoped he would to work late so she didn't have to see him, but on the contrary, he came home early exclaiming he was tired, but Sakura knew this was anything but the case. When she had finally finished her homework and gotten ready for bed, he had come into her room and…
Touya. That's all Sakura could think of now. How he was blind to all of this, even though his room was only on the other side of wall. What would he do if he ever found out? He would only blame himself, and what of Fujitaka? Sakura dreaded to think of what he would do to him, even though he was his father. The strange thing was, Sakura thought, was that Sakura had a strange feeling that Touya knows something is going on, in fact Sakura was sure of it. The year after her mother had died, which was about 7 years ago, Touya had constantly asked her question like: Is everything okay? What is she up to recently? And sometimes even: Has anyone been troubling her recently? Which struck Sakura as odd but very appropriate.
Of course Sakura had lied as best as she possible could saying that indeed she was fine and no, no one had been troubling her recently - why would he ask such a question? Sakura even has to lie to her best friend Daidouji Tomoyo for the same reason. She fears that her father would go to jail and then Touya would eventually leave for University and she would be left alone. However, Tomoyo, Sakura had noticed, was also getting the feeling that something was wrong. She had noticed that Sakura was growing to be more and more anti-social and only spoke to one other guy that was not family, Hiragizawa Eriol. Tomoyo had even noticed that something wasn't right when Sakura had taken two weeks off a couple of months ago in hospital for what was supposedly a violent illness. Sakura could not bring herself to tell her the truth, even when Tomoyo had visited her in hospital. The truth was Sakura had had an abortion.
To Sakura, the main reason as to why she couldn't tell anyone was that she was ashamed. Every time her father had…done that to her, she felt dirty, unclean. And with the fact that she lost her virginity almost 7 years ago…when she was only 11…it made her feel so…impure. Not like a cherry blossom at all. On the contrary, she felt like the dirt where the trees that grew cherry blossoms are planted in…or possibly even below that.
Eventually Sakura cried herself to sleep, left in her thoughts, wondering what tomorrow will bring.
A/N: So, how did i do for the beginning? three guesses as to who was the father of Sakura's unborn baby! and just to make sure we're clear, this chapter was just like Sakura's thoughts and she calls Fujitaka by his name when she's alone as she believes that a father wouldn't do to her what he does. anyway, please review and tell me what you think, i'll accept anything!
