Every Moment He Saw Her, But She Didn't See Him.

I could see her,

through the painted glass of a diner in Leiden.

She was sitting with Claudia,

having a meal,

wearing the uniform of an Auto Memories doll.

So very close to me,

yet so too far, too far to reach now.

.

.

.

I caught another sighting of her, this time she yelled at a man she thought was me.

I laughed to myself.

She didn't know how close she had come to spotting me.

The look on her face was no laughing matter.

I turned away from her tears.

Knowing that the man they were for, was long gone from her.

.

.

.

The last time I saw her,

she was at a gala for the Princess of Drossel,

she was so beautiful,

more beautiful than any Princess.

"Agent G."

Someone rubbed my shoulder, my comrade, reminding me of the mission.

I touched my eye-patch, subconscious as we melted back into the party, "coming."
