This story will talk about a 12 year old boy who starts his journey his journey in the region of Kanto. This is my first fanfiction story so it may contain errors. Please comment and tell me where the errors are.
Leon ran down stairs in the smell of his favorite breakfast, pancakes. "Pancakes my favorite!" Leon exclaimed while he gobbled down the pancakes. "Slow down you are going to choke!" His mother warned. "Oh, yes I almost forgot Professor Oak came earlier this morning he said he wanted to ask you a favor." "Really! I wonder what he wants?" Leon said.
Later that morning Leon went over to Professor Oak's Lab. The Professor opened the door looked at Leon and said "Well hello Leon. Come in I got a surprise for you." As they walked in Leon wonder what the surprise could be. When they got to the end of the room they stopped. Leon could see three pokeballs on a desk. Professor Oak turned around. Suddenly Leon knew what the surprise was a Pokemon! Professor Oak then said "I have ordered a package in Viridian City but I am too busy to get it myself. Can I count on you to get it for me? Usually I will ask my nephew, Brandon, to do something for me but I don't think he is mature enough to go get something for me. Since there are wild Pokemon I will give a Pokemon choice between a charmander, squirtle, or bulbasaur to protect you." "Hm, since I like fire types so I will chose Charmander!" He let out Charmander from its pokeball. Charmander looked happy to be free. "Char char!" Charmander exclaimed and stretched at the same time. "Hello Charmander, I'm Leon nice to meet you." "Now once you get my package in Viridian City come back here. I don't want you to get hurt." " I won't get hurt as long as I've got Charmander."
He left the lab to go home and tell his mom where he was going. Leon told everything to his mom. "You can go but make sure you take your Pokegear with you. Make sure you call me once you get to Viridian City. I gave you number to Professor Oak and I already put in his number. Be careful." "Okay, I will bye Mom."
While Leon was traveling he saw a woman about 23 years old being chased by two people dressed in black with a red letter R on there shirts. While coming towards Leon the woman yelled "Run little kid! Team Rocket is trying to take my Pokemon egg!" What?! Stop chasing her go Charmander! Use Scratch attack on Team Rocket!" Charmander came out with sharp claws scratching the two Team Rocket Members. Leaving one with a red mark on his face and the other one with a ripped uniform. "Go Zubat!" The both members said in unison. Both of them send out a zubat leaving Charmander fighting against two. "Charmander keep using Scratch Attack!" Charmander launched itself towards both of the zubats making the Scratch Attack stronger than usual. Both Pokemon got knocked out. "What? How the hell did we lose to a freaking kid?" said the one with a scratched face. "Let's get out of here!" said the one with the ripped uniform. Both ran off into the distance. "Thank you. I want you to get this Pokemon egg." said the woman. "What? You just give me that egg, Why?" Leon asked. "Just in case Team Rocket wants to get the egg you can protect it." she responded as she handed the egg over to Leon. "Okay, I'll take it." Leon took the egg from the woman. Then the woman walked away. Leon then carefully continued to walk to Viridian City worried about Team Rocket.
