I smiled as I looked out the window and saw little snowflakes falling. My blue eyes shimmered as I looked up at the light coming from the moon. I was waiting for my best friend, Flames the flareon. I've had a major crush on him since the day we met, but I'm to chicken to admit it. He promised me he would spend Christmas eve with me because my parents were on a business trip and wouldn't be home until next week. I was really excited because I was gonna tell Flames my feelings for him. Suddenly the door bell rang. I quickly got up and went to see who it was. As promised, Flames was here to spend time with me. I was so happy I nearly pounced onto him! '' Hi Shimmer!'' he exclaimed. I brought you a gift! ''What is it I asked?'' my checks burning from excitement. ''I'm not telling until later.'' he said with a huge evil grin on his face. ''Aww...'' I mumbled. ''So what do u wanna do?'' I asked ''I brought a movie we could watch!'' he said smiling. ''Ok, then I guess that's what we'll do for now, I'll get some popcorn!'' I said smiling. ''Ok!'' he exclaimed.

I sighed this movie was really good, it had both action and romance. We got to the part where the main characters Sun the espeon and Moon the umbreon kissed. Flames suddenly paused the movie. ''Hey what you do that for!'' I grumbled. ''It just got to the good part!'' ''Sorry... but I wanted to give you the gift, I felt that it was the right time to.'' ''Ok...'' I mumbled. As I carefully unwrapped the gift I wondered what it was. A few seconds later my question was answered. It was a ICE STONE! At first I was startled at the gift, but soon I really liked it. ''I wanted to give it to you cause well... you wanted to evolve into glaceon so umm... HERE YOU GO!'' he said while slightly blushing. I smiled for I was really happy and I didn't know what to say. I gently placed my paw on the stone, and I began to glow! My whole body glowed as it started to change. I BECAME A GLACEON! I stood there speechless at the new me. ''You look cute...'' said Flames shyly. ''Oh umm thanks...'' I mumbled blushing. ''Umm Shimmer, I uhh wanted to tell you that I umm, that I really really like you.'' he stuttered. ''Oh umm well ok then...'' I stood there not knowing what to say. ''No I really mean it, I umm uhh I... I LOVE YOU!'' he cried as he pulled me into a kiss. I wasn't sure what was happening but I felt like I was in heaven. I pulled away after a while and blushed. ''Well I umm... I've had the same feelings for you as well.'' I said my face almost as red as Flames. He smiled and whispered '' Will you be my girl?'' ''Yes'' I whispered back. I kissed him once more, and the two of us fell asleep with our noses touching one another.
