It was just a nightmare I told myself and then realisation hit me and the hole I'd so desperately avoided consumed me, I clutched my pillow as tightly as I could and sobbed a heart broken sob trying to get rid of this horrible feeling hoping that the numbness would soak into me, but it had been a long time since numbness resided in me.
