Teddy's eyes blazed the colour of the setting sun and he was all the colour she could ever need.
Midnight blue, forest green, flaming red and sparkling gold. She laughed every time he changed his hair colour, the sound as light, delighted, wonderful, as if it was the first time. And that was why he loved her. She still laughed, even after all these years. Everything with her felt new and exciting and Teddy was just so, so hooked.
"Again," she grinned, with the joy of a child and the flashing eyes of the devil.
Her smile was a brilliant as the stars, and the stars were what he saw when he looked at her silver-blonde hair, glinting in the sunlight. He thought of the nights they'd lain on the rooftop, staring at the constellations, stealing glances at each other under the moonlight. Knowing that he was the reason for even one Victoire-smile was a feeling he couldn't even express. All he knew was that it was good, the best.
Her smile made him smile and his smile made her smile and together they stayed, smiling and laughing like a pair of fools.
Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.
