CHAPTER ONE:

The Wolf

My eyes felt heavy as I awoke; the midnight moon was shining brightly on the fresh grass. I quickly stood up and sniffed the air. High upon this cliff left little food to satisfy my hunger. I spotted a bat-like creature in the distance hovering above the aria I was hiding. My jaw tightened, this may have been the first sight of a possible meal in at least three days.

I have forgotten how I came to this cliff or the reason I was here. I leaped off the ground catching the creature tightly in my jaws, I exhaled in satisfaction. The creature tasted metallic and gross. I gagged and sulked away. I need food. My stomach growled in displeasure.

Dang.. Still starving, my mouth started to go dry from disappointment. I quickly heard a disturbance in the calm night. I jumped to the side. Perfect, another human.. I looked at him with distaste.

"ALERT! ALERT! AN AKUMA HAS FOUND THE ORDER!" A booming voice came from the tall building that I stood before. I hesitated in shock. "ALLEN DESTROY IT! THE CREATURE IS OVER THERE!" I looked up to notice the large talking door was gesturing towards me. I dived into the bushes.

"Innocents activate." The boy's tone was hushed and calm. His arm transformed abruptly. My white fur would be a dead give away out in the shadow of night, Attack seems to be the only option. I advanced towards the boy, snarling, teeth barred.

"This is not an Akuma." The humans voice was colorless. I belloud, that stupid human not dare to fight me? He recalled his weapon, and started to walk on. "HAULT!" the door shrieked, I quickly froze in response. A blazing light came from the mysterious doors eyes.

"Allen?" and intercoms robotic voice filled the sky. "This wolf just happens to be an exorcist for some strange reason. Can you please bring the creature to Hevlaska?" I narrowed my eyes at my being called a "creature."

"WHAT?" The boys face was in shock. He stared at me with hesitation. I let out a slight growl. He let out a breath of frustration, and turned to face me. "Activate" Another green flash and the weapon again emerged from his arm.

"Oh don't worry Allen I'll bring help!" an annoyingly cheerful voice once again arose from the structure.

"What? OH NO KOMOUI DON'T-" a large bang cut him off.

"SIR KOMREN THE SECOND MAKE ME PROUD!" The voice became overjoyed. I sat in confusion.

"He seriously rebuilt that thing again?" The white haired boy or "Allen" sighed with irritation. A light quickly filled the blackened sky as a giant robotic monster hurtled towards the earth. It slammed onto the ground making the earth rumble. I stared at the large being. I was not going to back down no matter how intimidating the creature seemed to be. I stood tall eyes focused on the monster.

A sharp pain hit my side. My vision became blurred as I saw the dart that pierced my side. Shortly after, everything went black.
