Annabeth POV
I turn the corner to find my high school. Goode High School. It's a pretty good school if you ask me. The teachers are actually smart but I wouldn't say that for the students. Some of them are really stupid. For example there's Percy Jackson. Oh my gods I hate him so much. He's so obnoxious and annoying. That's why I always try to avoid him as much as possible.
Don't believe me, just wait.
"Excuse me Percy, I have to get through."
"Yeah well I have to stay here."
"But I have to get to class."
"And I don't care."
"Whatever."
You see what I mean. He's so rude. Doesn't even let me get through. And now I'm late for Ancient Greek History. Thank you Percy! But I'm not even that late, just like 5 minutes late. But I'm still late. I apologize for being late and sit down in my seat. Third seat in the second row. Right behind Percy. Oh yeah did I mention that he's in this class. I didn't… oh then he's in this class!
Percy comes in 10 minutes later with Jason, Leo, Frank and Nico. The group of 5 go ahead and take their seats while [my 6th grade teacher] calls them out and marks them late.
The rest of the class was fine, if you can exclude the annoyingness of Percy. Then came all of these other classes that I wasn't in the mood for today until it was time for lunch. Finally some time with my four best friends, I thought. As my four best friends there were Piper, Thalia, Hazel and Rachel. When I got in the Lunchroom they were the first people I saw. Then I saw Percy. OMG I forgot it was Wednesday, I screamed in my head, he's always here on Wednesdays! Ok I'll just walk past him really fast. I started walking past him but as soon as I got 5 inches away he noticed me and called my name.
"Hey Annabeth"
Oh my gods! "What do you want Percy? "
"Umm. Well I was thinking if you could tutor me?"
"With what?"
"Math and English?"
"Why would I?"
"Because you're a very nice person"
"Uhhgg, fine but only if you actually learn something and get better"
"Yes! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You won't regret it."
"Yeah whatever"
I got my lunch and went to go sit in my regular table.
"Hey guys. What's up?"
"Hey" all of them said in unison.
"Why were you talking to Percy just now?"Piper asked
"Well he was just asking if I could tutor him and I said yes" The whole table look at me with dropped jaws and wide eyes."Why are you guys all looking at me like that, it's no big deal."
"No big deal?! You hate him! You said it yourself like two weeks after the first day of school!" Rachel said.
"Ok I'm just tutoring him. Relax. Gods."
"Ok whatever you say Anna" Thalia said.
"Oh my gods! I keep telling you guys to stop calling me that!"
Then the whole table started laughing. At least everyone but me.
OK so that's it for the first chapter. I really hope you guys like it but if there is stuff that you might want to change I'll take it into consideration.
