"Kanba…" She whispered, her breath hot on his lips. "Do you really want to save this one girl's life that much?"
"Of course. She...is my world." It was all he wanted.
"Then, are you willing to give her a part of your life?"
"I'll do anything for her, just…just save her…please."His words were strained and ended as a whisper.
"Then, you two are bound by the string of fate. As long as you shall live, so shall she. But, should she reach her demise, so shall you."
"That's fine." He just wanted to return to the real world and be by her side.
"But this does come for a price, as you probably expected."
"I don't care."
"Very well. I hope you do not grow to regret this deal," She sighed out in defeat. This guy sure was stubborn. "In exchange, I want-"
"HEY! BRO, IT'S TIME TO GET UP!" Said red head cracked open an eye to see wide, green ones.
"Ngh…What is it, Shouma? He groaned in irritation. That was the 3rd time this month he'd had this dream. This didn't count the previous months, or years, of course. For as long as he could remember, he'd always been having this exact same dream, but would always be awoken one way or another right as the girl was going to tell him what she wanted.
He sighed. And she was such a cute girl too…"Stupid Shouma," He grumbled at his twin angrily for waking him up.
"What'd you say?" The blue haired boy yelled.
"Why'd you even wake me up?" He asked, incredibly irritated. This dream had been different from the other times. He had never gotten that far into the dream before, and was incredibly disappointed he still couldn't figure out what it meant. After 8 years of life, he figured he ought to be old enough now to figure it out.
"The soccer game, idiot!" Shouma said, exasperated. How could he have forgotten? Shouma was already dressed in his jersey and shorts.
Kanba sat up. "Ah, man I forgot!" He jumped out of his bed in their shared bedroom and ran to the dresser, pulling everything out in an effort to find his uniform.
"I just cleaned that!"
"Well, clean it again later!" Responded Kanba. Shouma wanted to scream in frustration. However, remembering the reason why his older brother was doing this caused him to just force it down. He'd get him back later.
"C'mon, we're gonna be late! Mom and Dad are already there!" Their parents had gone on ahead to get a good view of the field. The two children ran out the door of the apartment and down the numerous flights of stairs, not stopping for a moment to make it to the field on time.
"Himari-chan!" The petite girl turned around, only to be tackled. She stumbled, trying to regain her footing.
"Ringo-chan!" she laughed when she could breathe again.
"I haven't seen you in so looooong!" Ringo whined, burying her face into Himari's shoulder.
"It's only been two days."
"I knoooooow!"
Himari giggled. "C'mon, why don't we go have some curry at my house? I've got some left over from the other night."
Ringo's eyes lit up. "Sounds good!" She exclaimed, moving her grip onto Himari's arm. "Let's go!" She dragged a laughing Himari through the crowd of the shopping district to the subway.
The girls didn't notice they were being followed.
