Beyond the Shadows

When a strange group of cats move in, the clans are rudely awoken from their peaceful existence. With females from every clan being kidnapped, it's up to one apprentice to save them all.

1. Prologue

Nothing could be more peaceful in the clans during the season of green-leaf. Prey is plentiful, tensions are low, and there is plenty of water and shade to go around.

But then a strange group of rogues called 'Shadows' move into the territory and inhabit the strange tunnels below the clans, they seem to rock the very foundation of the clans.

With the group being all male, they soon begin to raid the clans, robbing the clans of females and kits, and imprison the female clan cats below the surface. They force the females into their strange customs of endless mating and birthing, and few females move into the rank of the Shadows. Conditions are horrid and there is little hope for the clan females until one faithful apprentice is captured when she strayed too far from camp one evening.

Soon Specklepaw is jolted into a world of pleasure, pain, passion, and secrets. With submission the only way to survive the harsh underground world of the Shadow's, Specklepaw begins to slowly climb the ranks, determined to free her fellow prisoners. With luck and fate against Specklepaw, will she ever survive to see the sun?

Or will she vanish Beyond the Shadows?
