On January 31st, there was an event called the Super Blue Blood Moon. I saw the moon. Unfortunately, I had to go to school and the moon was red when I was at school.

It was six in the morning. Gru and Lucy were awake. Gru looked at the newspaper and gasped. "The super blue blood moon. Lucy, you've got to see this!" Gru yelled. Lucy walked over to Gru.

"Hey Gru. What's up?" Lucy asked. "Today's the super blue blood moon." Gru said. "And why is that important?" Lucy asked. Gru sighed. "This event is rare and I want the girls to see this." Gru said. "Alright. I'll get the girls up." Lucy said.

Margo, Edith, and Agnes woke up and they saw Lucy. "Morning Lucy." Margo said. "Where's Gru?" Agnes asked. "He's in the kitchen." Lucy said. "Alright. Let's get up." Edith said.

Lucy and the girls went into the kitchen. "Hey Gru." Agnes said. "Good morning girls. I have news. I found out that there is an event that is very rare and it's called the Super Blue Blood Moon." Gru said. "Really? Cool." Margo said. Then Lucy looked outside. "Girls, look." Lucy said. The girls and Lucy saw the moon. "Nice." Edith said.

"Wait until it's red." Gru said. "Alright, but we have to go to work." Lucy said. "Alright." Gru said. "So get dressed." Lucy said. Gru went to his room and got dressed for work. Everyone else watches the moon. It was now six fifty-eight in the morning. Lucy and the girls saw the moon turn red.

"What do you think of this?" Lucy asked. "It's great Lucy!" Margo yelled. "Thanks for showing us." Edith said. "I made a wish." Agnes said. Then the sun came up and the moon was gone. Gru walked out of his room. "So, when is the moon going to turn red? Tonight? That would be cool if it was tonight. I'll make sure we stay up." Gru said.

Lucy and the girls looked at each other. "Oh boy." Margo said. "What? What happened?" Gru asked. "Gru, I've got something to tell you. The super blue blood moon already passed!" Lucy yelled. She said that super fast. "What?" Gru asked. "Gru, the moon is gone." Lucy said. "You….missed it." Edith said. "What!?" Gru yelled.

"Sorry." Lucy said. Gru sighed. "Fine. Let's go." Gru said and he went to the car. "Bye girls." Lucy said and she left. "Super Blue Blood Moon!" The girls yelled. The minions walked over. "Did you see it?" Margo asked. The minions nodded. "I feel bad for Gru. He missed it." Agnes said. "Let's call Dru. Maybe he'll have an idea." Margo said.

Lucy was driving. "I can't believe it." Gru said. "I know Gru. It was your idea to wake the girls up and see the moon." Lucy said. "And I had to get dressed!" Gru yelled. "Oh Gru. You don't want to make Valerie Da Vinci mad." Lucy said. "I know. The first Super Blue Blood Moon was in 1982, and you won't be able to see another one in nineteen years. The next one is in January 31, 2037." Gru said.

"That's a while." Lucy said. Then Gru's phone rang. "Hello?" Gru asked. "Brother! Did you see the Super Blue Blood Moon!?" Dru asked. "You saw it too?" Gru asked. "Yeah! Everyone saw it!" Dru yelled. "Alright. What do you want?" Gru asked.

"I'm close to your house, so I'll see you after your job, and then we can talk about the Super Blue Blood Moon." Dru said. "Fine." Gru said and he hung up.

It was now three fifteen in the afternoon. Gru and Lucy went back to their house. Then they saw Dru.

"Hey brother! Now let's talk about the Super Blue Blood Moon!" Dru yelled. "Look, Dru. About that. I didn't get to see it." Gru said. "What?" Dru asked. "I didn't see the moon." Gru said. "Why not?" Dru asked. "I was getting dressed for work." Gru said. "Well that's all your fault." Dru said. "That's not helping." Lucy said and she walked away.

Dru looked around. Lucy and the girls were not in the room. Dru smiled. He had an idea. "Gru, I've got a perfect idea." Dru said. "What?" Gru asked. "Remember when you stole the moon?" Dru asked. "Yes. Wait. No, no. We are not stealing the moon!" Gru yelled. "Oh come on brother." Dru said. "No. I am not doing that." Gru said and he walked away.

"Please?" Dru asked. "No!" Gru yelled. "Fine, but when you look at the sky, and you don't see the moon, you know where to find me." Dru said. "Don't you dare!" Gru yelled. Dru left.

Lucy walked in. "Um, what happened to Dru and what were you talking about?" Lucy asked. "Since I missed the moon, Dru wants to steal it, so I can see it." Gru said. "And then what? Is he going to spray paint it blue and then red?" Lucy asked and laughed. "Probably." Gru said. "Oh." Lucy said.

Two days later, Dru did it. He did the exact same thing that Gru did when Gru was a villain. Gru looked at his newspaper. "You're kidding me." He said.

Lucy walked over. "What?" Lucy asked. "He did it." Gru said. "Who did what?" Lucy asked. "Dru stole the moon!" Gru yelled. "Wow. He wasn't kidding." Lucy said. "This reminds me of when I did that." Gru said.

"Yep, but then you put it back." Lucy said. Then Gru gasped. "Wait, do you remember when I stole that?" Gru asked. The girls walked in. "Uh yeah. It got bigger." Margo said. "Oh no. That will happen to Dru! Now I know Dru is a villain and all, but he's my brother!" Gru yelled. Lucy ran over to the phone and called Dru.

The phone rang. "Hello?" Dru asked. "Dru, it's Lucy. I've got some news. The shrink ray effect is just temporary! It's not permanent!" Lucy yelled. "Oh calm down Lucy. I didn't use the shrink ray." Dru said. "He didn't use the shrink ray." Lucy said.

"What!?" Gru asked and he grabbed the phone. "So you're saying that you stole the moon without shrinking it!?" Gru asked. "Yeah. Wait, was that wrong?" Dru asked. "Yes! You can get hurt. Put that moon back where it belongs! In the sky!" Gru yelled. "I'm going to need help." Dru said. Gru groaned.

"Fine. I'll help you." Gru said. Then his family went to Freedonia and they went to Dru's Mansion. Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith, Agnes, and the minions walked in. Dru saw Gru.

"Hey brother! Now I'll show you the moon." Dru said and he took the family to one of his rooms. Gru walked in and screamed. Lucy walked over to Gru.

"What happened? What the?" Lucy asked. Margo, Edith, and Agnes saw the moon. "Is that the moon?" Margo asked. "Yes. It is." Dru said. "Why is it red?" Edith asked. "Well my brother didn't see the moon, so I decided to take the moon and spray paint it red on one side and blue on the other side." Dru said. "So Gru, what do you think?"

Gru was speechless. "Gru?" Lucy asked. "Are you kidding me!? This is ridiculous! Dru, you don't listen! I didn't want you to steal the moon!" Gru yelled. "Oh." Dru said. "Minions! I want this moon back to its original color." Gru said.

The minions nodded. "Yes." Kevin said. The minions got to work. "I've got to return the moon." Gru said and he took his space suit.

Five hours later, the moon was back to its original color. "Good. I'll be back." Gru said. He took his shrink ray out and shrunk the moon. Then he left.

"So what do you want to do now?" Margo asked. The minions put music on. "Huh?" Stuart asked. "Okay." Margo said. Everyone was dancing to music while Gru was putting the moon back.

"What is he crazy? Just because I didn't see the Super Blue Blood Moon, it doesn't mean that Dru can take the moon and then spray paint it!" Gru yelled.

After Gru put the moon back, and the moon was its regular size again, Gru went back to Dru's Mansion.

"I'm back." Gru said. "Hey." Lucy said and she turned the music off. "Look, brother, I'm sorry." Dru said. "It's alright, but don't do that again." Gru said. "Okay, but how are you going to see the moon now?" Dru asked. "Well there is another way I can see it. Nineteen years from now, there will be another one." Gru said.

"Nineteen?" Dru asked. "Yes. It will happen on January 31st, 2037." Gru said. "Who told you that?" Dru asked. "Dr. Nefario." Gru said. "Oh." Lucy said. "I'll just have to wait
