Tessa remembered every life she had reaped.
Young and old, male and female.
Children.
Suicides, glad to cut their ties with pain. The old and decrepit who clung tenaciously to the last vestiges of their happy memories. The angry, the sad, the surprised.
When she encountered Dean Winchester for the third time, dead (again!) but still not ready to be reaped, it made her angry. She wasn't amused by his offer of a neck massage to defuse the tension when they were told Tessa was to babysit him while he played Death for the day.
The boy was an idiot.
