ONE SHOT - and also LAST SHOT.

This is a thinly veiled message to my readers in the form of a fic that takes off on things that were mentioned in "Castiel Grows Up". I'm sorry that "Castiel Grows Up" was removed, but it was not my doing. I'm attempting to reconstruct it, but that will take a while. Meanwhile you can find out where it will be when I do by reading this one.

If you have a favorite of mine on here and wish to keep it safe then copy it with my blessings (not to post somewhere else as yours of course, but to be able to read it when you want). As I move these I will be deleting them from here.

Writer's Dilemma

Castiel stared at the laptop screen in disbelief and then turned to Dean. "I don't understand. I was just trying to communicate with my readers. Let them know I was having writer's block."

Dean grabbed his coffee mug and walked over to the counter to fill it back up. "I know Cas, but apparently there are rules and you broke one of them. You need more coffee?"

"No, thanks. But why wasn't I warned first? They could have at least let me correct it before just deleting it. It will take weeks to repost all of it."

Dean sat down across the table from Castiel and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, that would make sense, but the self-appointed douchewads that started the whole thing don't really care. Just move them somewhere else. I was reading some stuff last night about it and I really don't think it's worth it to keep pouring effort into it if a bunch of idjits can gang up and report something just because they think they are God."

Castiel glared at the screen. "I will smite them when I get my powers back."

"I'll help."

Castiel stared at the screen a few more moments and then closed the lid. "It's not fun anymore if it will be this way. I will just cease my writing."

An exasperated sigh escaped Dean's lips. "Hell no you won't. Don't let them take the fun out of it if you enjoy it. There are plenty of other places where you can write whatever the hell you want."

"How will my readers know where they are if I move them?"

"Just use CastielAotL66 as your screen name wherever you go. That way they can look you up."

Castiel sighed and looked down at his hands "But I tried those other places and the editing process is so much easier here."

"Come on, Cas. You learned all this stuff you can learn some more. I'll call Becky and see if she can get you an invite to AO3?"

Castiel sighed and got up. "That could take months...I am on the waiting list though."

"Well put them all on LJ for now. At least they'll be safe there. I'll help and it won't take long."

"Thanks Dean. I guess we should get to work."

END

The moral of the story is…yeah there are rules, but some common sense seems to be lacking in certain factions. Having an entire multi-chapter fic deleted because of an infraction that is utilized daily by many writers here in only one chapter of the fic is taking things a bit too far. I'm not going to sit back and watch my stuff get butchered so look me up in other places.
