Hey Guys! This is my first story and I hope you guys like it! Its actually a one shot (and I promise there's nothing rated R here). Moana deserved a nice gift for being the brave girl she is. And what better than to make Moana a demigod! I want to say "don't forget to like and subscribe" so imma say, don't forget to follow and favorite!
The Goddess Tafiti never saw a girl like Moana before. She deserved a gift. A gift for herself.
Moana bowed in thanks to Tafiti. She could see how powerful the stone was. All this pure beauty definitely didn't come from nowhere.
She jumped off the gigantic green hand and saw something glimmer near the water. As she came closer to it Maui signed her to look behind. Moana turned around and saw the most graceful movement she had ever seen. As the great Goddess went to sleep, her form had been mushed into the island as if they were one in the same.
Who was she kidding, they are one and the same!
She gave a small wave and sighed.
Suddenly the shimmering thing on the beach glowed in front of her eyes.
When she turned around, she saw the ocean carrying an oar.
An oar that was oh so shiny.
Her thoughts immediately derived to Tamatoa. She was gonna have to keep this away from him.
As she grabbed the fine oar, everything changed. Everything just blew up into glimmer.
She had to close her eyes for a second.
When she opened her eyes again. Everything looked the way it was before. She looked down onto the oar and saw golden writing inscribed onto the oar.
However, she could not read this writing. It looked familiar but she couldn't make out the words.
She called for Maui.
"Maui!", she called, "I need you!"
"Yea?"
"Look at this!", she shoved the oar into Maui's hands.
"It must be gift from Tafiti.", he said.
"But can you read the writing on it?"
Maui scrunched his eyes. As he read the oar his eyes widened in suprise and he gasped.
"What!? What does it say?!", Moana asked.
Maui dropped down into a bow.
"All hail Moana, shape-shifter, demigoddess of the wind and sea, hero of men."
Moana gasped, she took a step back. Then she joked, "I believe its hero to all."
Maui chuckled. "And I believe this is your magical oar".
Suddenly Moana had a worried face on.
"Oh Maui, how am i going to present this?! I'll be a terrible demigod!"
Maui patted her shoulder. "I, on the other hand, believe that there's no'one better for this role than you."
Then Maui looked at his tattoo and lifted up his necklace to see his tattoo's changing form and turning into a girl sailing on the sea. Moana stared in awe as she recognized the girl to be herself.
Then he said, "Whacha say little buddy", talking to his mini version of himself. The tattoo turned into a hawk and so Maui held his hook in front of him and turned into a hawk as well.
Moana grabbed her oar and willed herself to turn into a hawk too. After a few seconds, her body was replaced with one of a hawk.
Together, they both reached her home island. Moana turned back into her normal self.
"Moana!", her parents exclaimed.
"Moana?!", all the people of the island gathered round.
Moana looked around for Maui but he was nowhere to be found, until she spotted a hawk flying gracefully overhead. The hawk nodded and flew away.
Moana told them all everything she went through and at the end, her parents were in tears.
"Oh Moana, your grandmother would be so proud."
"I know, she is.", and Moana pointed to the sting ray nearby with a certain tattoo embeded on its back.
