Orange had never been her favorite color. She wasn't fond of it, and she always strove to not use it for anything, even with cakes.

But that changed when she met him. He typed in that horrid color, and just by that fact alone she already disliked him. She even brought it up the first time they spoke, nearing the end of their first conversation. As time went on, however, she found a sort of comfort on that orange text. There were times when she'd say something strange, outrageous even, just to see it appear on her screen. If he had ever caught on about what she had been doing, he never brought it up or made fun of her for it.

On her birthday, an orange package appeared on her bed. She still wasn't fond of the color, but as she looked inside at the contents, she soon forgot about the box. The book soon became one of her absolute favorites, right after Coronel Sassacre's book. She loved it so much she ignored the orange writing and just enjoyed it for the way he had changed everything to make it so much more awesome. She couldn't thank him enough for the thoughtful gift.

It was then that she realized that orange was alright.

After that, she received another gift from him in the form of a robotic bunny with orange shades. She was curious as to whether they were actually shades or its eyes. But when she tried to get them off, the rabbit grabbed her hand and wagged its cute finger at her. It wasn't later that day that she knew those shades were never coming off. The rabbit would often disappear and then reappear, jumping at the chance to play/pick a fight with her. She grew to love her Lil' Seb, even if the rascal did chop off her poppops head.

One day, after Lil' Seb had stayed with her enough for her to get accustomed to it, she asked him about it. He responded with something she could somewhat understand about his feelings and all the irony. She concluded that although he was hiding it, he had thought about her when he was making that bunny. And the orange text was now more than welcome on her screen.

Then the game began. After everyone had finally met and shared information, she noticed that he had wandered off alone. When she found him, he was lying against a tree. She sank down next to him and wondered if he was asleep. When she reached in to remove his shades, his hand stopped hers. And in an action reciprocating her Lil' Seb years ago, he wagged his finger at her. A grin grew on her face and instead of dropping her hand she moved the other to shift his glasses, at least a little. He moved to stop her, but it was too late. The glasses were askew, and she could see them. The orange eyes. He quickly fixed his shades, and she noted the blush on his cheeks, albeit very little and hardly visible.

The game came and went, and soon they all returned to somewhat peaceful lives. She had gotten her own bakery in which they would all visit near constantly, enjoying her company and her delicious treats. But he almost never showed. No matter how many times she asked him to, he never showed up.

So it came as a surprise when she saw him there, near the counter and giving her a playful smirk, one she had never seen before. He gave her an orange package, and wished her a happy birthday before disappearing. She opened the box to see a beautiful blue rose, the same blue as her eyes with an orange ribbon and a card.

It was in that moment that she realized that orange had become her favorite color.
