He leapt in front of her. That was all he needed to do. He could not let Hades win. He had to save the woman he loved. If it was the last thing he did.
Regina's POV
That cursed blue light hit him. It wasn't meant for him it was meant for her. Why did everyone she loved die because of that one simple fact? They loved her. It was fair or right, it was awful.
'No!' That was all she could say. 'No!' He was turning to her. He looked straight at her. As blue hit brown and tears fell from their eyes.
Somehow the same memory hit them both at once but in two very different ways.
'Don't get in my way'
'I wouldn't dream of it'
Why on Earth did he have to get in her way? She would have gone but he did the noble thing and sacrificed himself for her. Him and that damn code of honour…
