Nightmares

A/N: ok I'm sorry for any mistakes this is my first story ever and I tried really hard to write this and I will gladly except any tips and light criticism. If I read really harsh comments I won't ever write anything ever again and will hate myself. I don't own Special A or its characters...wish I did.

NIGHTMARES
It was dark. A kind of pitch black that reminds you of how cruel and evil the world is. She was at the center, the heart, of the darkness that was her fear. All of her loved ones walked to her and then walked back through the door that kept her imprisoned and Hikari couldn't do anything about it. She couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't scr-.
Hikari sat up in her bed in tears and shaking. It was 3:24 a.m. She was shaking so bad she could hear the bed squeaking underneath her. As she cried as quietly as she could she was alone and couldn't stand it. Quickly Hikari grabbed the phone Takishima had gotten her and dialed his number.
After about two rings he answered and sounded so worried that she felt bad about calling when he asked if she was alright.
"Could you meet m-me at the greenhouse...now" she choked through a sob.
"I'm on my way"
She put on a pair of pants and a t-shirt in a matter of seconds. She then sprinted through the house and onto the cold street still in tears. As she ran she realized that she was taking this too seriously but she didn't care she needed someone to help her right now and he had promised to be there for her anytime of day when she had been confessed to. 3:56 was definitely any hour of the day.
Soon the gates of the school came into view and then the greenhouse. Using the moonlight to see she ran to the doors of the glass sanctuary opening one and quickly slipping inside. As she ran she didn't realize that Her beloved friend was standing in front of their couch staring at the tears on the stone path that led to him.
"Hikari, what's wrong"
This startled her and once she realized it was him she ran into his arms and full out sobbed into his chest. After a few minutes she calmed down enough to sit next to him refusing to be anywhere but his side. He asked what was wrong again and she just replied quietly.
"It was just a stupid nightmare, it's nothing"
"Hikari I have never seen you this upset, it had to have been pretty bad. Tell me what happened"
She sighed "You were in it"
"Did I hurt you" he asked concerned.
She simply nodded and then told him that he had hurt her.
"Everyone I care about showed up then left me alone and scared and I couldn't do anything about it I was helpless"she was in tears again and started to cling to him like he was a stuffed bear. After a minute she calmed down and sat quietly in her rival's arms.
Kei Takishima appeared calm and relaxed right at that moment but in his head he was as worried as a mother is when their children are deathly sick. He had known Hikari over ten years and he knew that her only real fear was the fear of losing people close to her, and to not be able to do anything about it is even worse. Usually the Special A class's most famous couple were calm, relaxed, even care free appearing, but for them both to have been so upset was weird and they knew it but didn't care at all.
"Hikari," she looked up at the young man that had just spoken," I will never leave you, no matter what. I promise."
"Really"
"I refuse to leave someone in such a cruel way. Especially one I love so much."
Her eyes widened at the declaration and she was dazed, but after a second regained her senses and wrapped her arms around his neck as she said the words both had wanted to hear for so long.
"I love you,too"
