Dedicated to a dear friend of mine. She will know what this is about. Any other random people probably won't. Your choice of one of the Kudos if you understand this at all.

Disclaimer: Heiji and Shin-chan are not mine. If they were, I'd be a mangaka and good at drawing and be able to speak Japanese.

Hattori Heiji and Kudo Shinichi ran around the corner and quickly ducked into the first doorway on the left. After reassuring the startled employee of the store whose back room they'd burst into that they were not there to steal anything, the two detectives made their way silently to the changing rooms. They had to be cautious since not to be seen by anyone who could be looking in the store window. A few customers gave them some odd looks (and one cat call) as they ducked into the changing room together. Neither of them payed much attention.

"Who are they Hattori?" Shinichi panted as he switched over to Japanese. He wasn't in the mood to put forth the effort needed for English.

"Don't ask me," Hattori replied, also switching over to their native tongue, "I've never seen the two of them before in my life."

"Well they had to have seen us somewhere. Nobody chases somebody like that unless they know the person they're chasing."

"Maybe they're some rabid fans of yours Kudo."

"I don't recall ever meeting any American fans. And I haven't been to America since Ran and I went to New York City."

They bantered back and forth for about fifteen minutes when they decided it was probably safe to come out of hiding. Heiji peeked out the front door and, not seeing their mysterious chasers, signaled the okay to Shinichi. The two walked carefully out onto the sidewalk and managed to go ten feet before a high-pitched yell came from behind.

They didn't have time to turn around before the attack came. Two shapes tackled Heiji to the ground while the poor detective desperately tried to reach out to his friend for help. Too bad his hands were pinned to his side in the attack. His face was one of shock and confusion, but there was a tiny bit of terror mixed in. Obviously he had never experienced a glomp before. Suddenly scared for his life, Shinichi held up his hands in surrender but there seemed to be no more girls around wanting to tackle him. The two only seemed to be interested in Heiji. He noticed that they were the two they had been running from earlier.

"It doesn't look like they're my rabid fans Hattori."

Heiji was attempting to stand up at this point and was failing rather miserably because of the two chattering girls clinging to him. Shinichi could only catch bits and pieces of Heiji's response over the non-stop noise coming from the two girls. He could here his name, something about a kangaroo, a plunger, and soy sauce? At the mention of Shinichi's name the girl with the longer hair looked up, as if she only just now noticed him. She released her grip only long enough to grab Heiji's hat and place it on Shinichi's head (he had frozen in fear as she'd approached him). She then went back to joining her companion who had taken her attention off of Heiji only long enough to see what her friend was doing. The two began to talk at impossible speeds and looking back and forth from Shinichi to Heiji.

They never should have come to America. This place was crazy!
