You can see into eternity.
A sea of endless blue enters
through my eyes,
and it crawls and seeps and
consumes my mind.
And then it moves, tracking
faster and faster
through my shoulders and
shivering in my spine
and warming my fingertips,
clouding my chest and
filling me to
the bottoms of my souls.
And when all else is filled,
you gently step up to the door,
and you don't even have to knock,
but you carefully lift my heart
into your hands,
And you can see into eternity.
