Decaying Time
"Jet, how much further is it to Mars? I'm getting hungry." Faye said as she started to pounce Ein. The Bebop Crew had been traveling from Saturn to Mars for a year now. They haven't had any breaks for food or anything.
"About an hour. And please don't eat the dog. He is a machine and is not edible" Jet said, "By the way, where did all of the food go? We had a ton of food when we left."
"You forget we have Spike who eats anything in sight. And maybe you should look behind you. You should find a big answer." Faye answers as Jet looks behind him.
Sitting at the table is, you guessed it, Spike. (big surprise ^_^) He seems as if he had eaten the universe. He was as fat as a cow while Jet and Faye wither away to nothing.
"Jesus Christ Spike. How much did you eat? You must be well over 400 pounds. Jet exclaimed.
Meanwhile Faye turned on the TV to watch the daily Big Shot. She figured I should get the latest bounties while they argue.
"Howdy, How yawl doin' all 300 million bounty hunters in the galaxy? We have the biggest bounty of all time. This guy is worth 30 billion woolongs. His name is yet to be announced. Wait. His name is Spike Spiegel." The host from Big Shot said."
"What? Wh.What did I do? I was here." Spike said.
"Spike is wanted for grand theft auto, theft, assassination, and multiple killings. These crimes weren't committed alone. Faye Valentine, Jet Black and Edward. If all four are brought in the reward will be doubled." Exclaimed the TV.
"Why not turn ourselves in. They might give us the money so we can bail ourselves out" Faye said as she always does to settle things down, "No, that won't work. This whole bounty might not be true because Spike is too fat to fit in a car or normal building and we've been traveling through space." Jet remarked.
"Ed found surveillance footage from he store we robbed." Edward said, "Let me see it so I can have you see it."
As the tape rolls she notices that the people are only dressed up as them. Most people would say something immediately. She didn't. Spike continued to eat and Faye once again started to pounce Ein again.
"Hey Faye Faye. Come look at the camera. You will be surprised at what I found." Ed said as she setup the computer.
Everyone gathered around to watch the tape. Ed played it for them.
"Hey that's not us" They all say in unison.
