Written for Fairytale Class Assignment 1: Write about character who has less than 3, 000 stories written about them.

Character: Evan Rosier

Prompts: Care (word) & Unknown (word)

The rain is pouring down outside while inside a house with happy family photographs all over the walls becomes a place of terror. Evan doesn't care who lives or dies, but he will leave one alive to tell the tale of what happened. Maybe he will choose the angelic faced child that clings to its mother in fear and hope that she can protect it.

He didn't hide his face with a mask like the others did. No, he wanted his victims to know who he was and the one he let live he wanted them to know who tore apart their world. Evan wouldn't pretend he was an unknown shadow wreaking havoc on the world.

He proudly boasted to the world that he was a monster. Evan wasn't like his cousin Bellatrix who claimed it was all to keep the world pure, so she could silence the voice that told her it was wrong. Evan had no voice telling him what he did was wrong and he was fine with that.

He doesn't blame his father for never showing him any affection as he kills the brown-haired husband and father who bravely tries to defend his family. He doesn't blame his mother for the hours she spent telling him how important blood purity was when he murders the mother trying to save her child.

When he leaves a traumatised child shaking with fear and only its dead parents for company he blames no one, but himself. Evan knows that when he dies no one will have a good word to say about him, but they will always say he was one of the few Slytherins that was honest.
