A/N: Just to let you know, if this songfic is a little confusing, I'll tell you now. After each stanza of the song is a completely different scenario, so they aren't related to each other. I based most of it off Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Tifa parted the curtains, looking to see if he'd come back yet. He said he would...but why isn't he back yet? Don't you know? Everyone needs you. I need you.

You told me to call
Said You'd be there
And though I haven't seen You
Are You still there?

Well, it's worth a try. Sighing, Tifa picked up her cell phone and dialed his number. She had tried contacting him quite a few times but for some reason, he never replied anyone's calls. Is even still there? If he is, then why is he ignoring all his friends?

I cried out with no reply
And I can't feel You by my side
So I'll hold tight to what I know
You're here and I"m never alone

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!!" Tifa screamed as Lox punched her, hard, on the stomach. She flew across the clearing and landed, groaning, on the field of beautiful flowers. Don't worry Tifa. You tried to reaasure herself while clutching her abdomen in pain. Cloud said he'd be here. Cloud's coming soon.

And though I cannot see You

Tifa had just finished putting Marlene and Denzel to bed. She went back to her own room and stared at the picture of her and Cloud. Thank you. You've helped me so much. You gave me the courage to start helping others.

We cannot separate

I'll trust the unseen

Even though he wasn't with her, she could tell. He was coming back. I'll just have to trust him.

I cried out with no reply
And I can't feel You by my side

She moaned as she heard footsteps walking towards her. "Tifa? Tifa!" Someone was talking to her, picking her up. Cloud... She was fading out of consciousness. "Tifa!!!"

Cloud...

You finally...came back...like you said you would...
