NEW YEAR SPECIAL
ISAAC
CHAPTER ONE
It was the day before the big day and the band decided to stay up watching the fireworks live. Isaac had gone to take a nap, for his already sleep-starved eyes wouldn't even be able to lift a dung beetles' leg. He promptly fell asleep on the couch and he flipped his slipper up and down even in his sleep. He was oblivious of the fact that he was still at Shawn's house and it was Aunt Betty's baking special day. She was opening vast discounts on all her baking, including cactus- flavoured stale bread with sugar-infused vinegar drizzled on it. Oh, and guess what, he was the helpless lab-rat that had to suffer through and quench the unquenchable thirst of his Aunt's cruel wishes. He had thought many times of running away to the police station to report her for aural domestic abuse. Sadly, he did not have the guts to.
While he was sleeping, the GGO Footballers in the boxes he had left them in at Shawn's numerous computerised football tables, had died.
Just kidding. They're not dead.
Isaac awoke from his deep, troubled sleep and thought: Where am I? What day is it? Am I supposed to be with Aunt Betty? Is she going to kill me? Then it struck him. It was discount day! Oh, he was sure he was going to see no end to the end of Aunt Betty's timber rolling pin. He dashed out, ignoring the looks his friends gave him. His life was at stake. He ran out onto the road, not looking at cars and at that moment, a Subaru Forester 4x4 came careering down onto him and the last thing he saw in his pitiful life was surprisingly not Aunt Betty's rolling pin, but the front of a metal car. And then he passed away. And so did his AI bots on Shawn's numerous computerised football tables.
Just kidding. They're still alive to die another day.
