Harry wasn't the only one who was listening in on the Professors conversation. Remus was sat in the corner of the Three Broomsticks taking in every word of their discussion.
As usual, Remus had been forgotten about when it came to discussion about the Marauders. He was always just 'the quiet, clever one who hangs around with Sirius and James'. James and Sirius were always the ones who made everyone laugh and got all of the girls following them about. Yes, Remus did get a few girls but he was never really that interested. He wasn't even sure that he likedgirls in that way. To him, Sirius was the only one he admired, although he never would have admitted it. He definitely wouldn't have imagined Sirius feeling the same way. But as it happened, he did.
Of course, James had been the one to break the news to them. He sat them down on the sofa one evening and told them that he knew that they were in love with each other and they just needed to snog and get over with it because the sexual tension was driving him crazy. So that's what they did. Once they had locked James out of the room to go Lily-stalking of course.
Since then it had always been Remus and Sirius, always. But even so, Remus still lay in the background, forgotten by everyone else.
A/N:Just a short drabble that I have literally just written now in ten minutes! I feel quite proud of myself for posting two things in one day!
I wrote this because I've felt kind of sorry for Remus because they never ever mention him when they talk about the Marauders. Like in the Three Broomsticks they talk about Sirius, James and Peter but they never mention Remus once... :/
