She knows people think she's severe but she also knows that Dwight loves her, not because she's severe, but in spite of it. Knowing that helps her sleep soundly every night. He's a good man, and she loves him, even if he doesn't attend church with her. She pulls up in front of his farm house and his cousin Mose is sitting on the porch. She likes Mose, he's a good influence on Dwight. He stands and waves, which makes her smile because she likes this life. But she hopes Dwight isn't watching something inappropriate on television. He probably is.
-------------
Dwight is watching a rerun of the Simpsons. Angela doesn't approve, but Angela hasn't gotten to the farm yet. She says the show is blasphemous. But she says that about a lot of Dwight's interests. For a long time Dwight had just tuned out Angela's many judgments, but now he's come to accept them as part of her, but not the most important part. Dwight sees headlights outside and then the top of Angela's head is just visible through the window. Dwight shuts off the TV, because he really does respect his monkey, even when he doesn't agree with her.
-------------
Mose sees headlights in the distance and wonders if it's Angela. She's very proper and Mose is slightly intimidated by her. But when she's with Dwight every part of her softens- her posture, her mouth, her eyes. Even her ponytail seems to loosen as soon as she sees Dwight. When she pulls up in front of the house Mose stands and waves and Angela smiles back as she hurriedly walks through the front door. Mose takes a surreptitious glance through the window and notices she's already softened as Dwight stands to greet here, with his arms already stretched in welcome.
