"What is the meaning of this Roger?" the temperamental
blond screamed in the
poor man's face.
"It's like I said, Mello. You and Near are to share a room till
you can get
along. L's orders." Roger stated calmly.
"How do you expect me to share a room with that - that...
freak?"
"Think of it as a... challenge."
.::::!~ The Next Day ~!::::.
"So you just stay on your side and we'll be all good." Mello
said sitting on
his bed.
"I don't think that is a good idea Mello."
"I don't give a flying fuck what you think!" An awkward
silence washed over
the two boys. Not at all fazed by the awkward moment
Near got up and started
to put away his things. There was a knock on the door that
made Mello jump.
Slowly he got up and answered it.
"I'm heeeeere!~" Matt shouted cheerfully.
"Matt! Thank Gawd!" Mello hugged his best-friend.
"I have a movie for us to watch." Matt said lifting up the
bag in his hand.
"It's a horror!"
"Dude yes!"
"Can I watch too?" Near asked from the other side of the
room.
"If you think you can handle it." Mello said devilishly.
.:::!~ One Extremely Grotesque Horror Movie Later ~!::.
"Well that was... disturbing." Mello gave Matt a weird
look.
"I liked it!" Matt said smugly. Mello punched him in the arm
playfully.
"You idiot! So Near what did you think of the movie?"
"It was pointless and not at all scary." Near said in a
monotone voice.
"Freak..." Mello mumbled under his breath.
"Well I gotta get back to my room. 'Night guys!~" Matt
waved goodbye as he
left.
"Well I don't know about you, but I'm tired as shit!" Mello
said as he lay
down on his bed.
"Umm... Mello, do you think that maybe I could, umm...
sleep in your bed with
you tonight?"
"What? Why I thought you said that movie wasn't scary?"
"I lied okay! I'm absolutely terrified!" Near was on the
verge of tears
showing more emotion now than he ever had before.
"Then, why did you watch the movie?"
"I wanted to hang out with you and Matt..." Near sobbed.
"Fine! You can sleep with me tonight. But don't touch me!"
Near climbed into
Mello's bed and soon they both fell asleep.
