Romeo and Juliet
Modern day
Pokémon World
A girl with straight brown hair and emerald green eyes along with her Espeon were at the mall only two weeks until prom and she still didn't have a date!
She sighed to herself; if only her parents weren't so protective then maybe this wouldn't happen at every major social event. Her Espeon looked up at her; he was worried.
"Esp esp espeon?" What's wrong Juliet?
"It's Nothing Espeon." Juliet replied as it turned to be a perfect translation.
Espeon gave her a funny look (best an Espeon could) but shook it off.
"UMBREON GET BACK HERE!!!" the trainer and Pokémon both turned their attention to where the voice was coming from.
A boy about the same age with black hair and blue eyes was chasing after an Umbreon with a half eaten cheese burger in its mouth.
Juliet couldn't help but giggle at this scene… until the Umbreon jumped on her and knocked her down, leaving her stunned.
"Umbre!" the night creature said as it gobbled down the rest of the burger.
The boy rushed up to the fallen girl.
"Aw, Umbreon look whatch'ya did!" The boy exclaimed, "Here let me help you up." The boy held out his hand to help Juliet. She couldn't help but blush a little but soon accepted the hand.
"The name's Romeo." Romeo said after an awkward silence.
"Juliet." Was her simple reply.
"Umm… do you wanna get a burger or something? 'Cus I'm starving… and after someone ran off with my lunch," referring to his Umbreon who was nuzzling Juliet's Espeon lovingly. "I need something to eat." Romeo asked.
"Sure." Juliet replied with a giggle. "You know you have a wired way of asking someone out."
"Yeah, I get that a lot" Romeo said coolly.
They were at the food court. Juliet had a slice of pizza; Romeo had (another) burger, while the two eons shared some poffins.
"Juliet?" Romeo asked
"Mmhmm"
"I was wondering if you had a date for prom."
"Nope"
"Do you wanna go with me?"
Romeo could've sworn on his life that he saw a glint in Juliet's eye.
"OMG OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS" Juliet shouted to the tops of her lungs gaining many looks from passerbyers (AN: is that a word?)
Romeo looked a bit shaken but calmly replied "yep" and he couldn't help but laugh.
"Sure I'll go with you."
Unknown to either Romeo, Juliet or the two eons that someone was watching them… someone sinister and had very evil plans "yes those two will be just fine."
