I know people following my other fics are going to be mad at me for posting this drabble before I posted their stuff, but when the plot bunnies attack, resistance is futile. This is my first attempt at the Naruto fandom, but not my last. There are about four more Naruto-related bunnies, but the rest have agreed to wait until I get Quest for Home and Waiting for You updated. They don't care about the other 4 ongoing fics I have. The Road of Life
The road of life can only reveal itself as traveled; each turn in the road reveals a surprise. One is loss, but along another is love. And that love takes so many twists and turns I just can't help but get lost. Love between two ninja is confusing enough as it is, but with someone like me falling for someone like Iuka was entirely unanticipated. He is perfect, and as innocent as someone in the field can be, and he makes my road of life so complicated. I never know which path will keep me with him, and which one will lead me to lose yet another person I care about. But once I choose which path to take, there's no way to turn back and take the other road—it's no longer an option.
So I will continue to follow the road of life, and it will continue to unfold behind me, and I can only hope that where I'm going leads me to Iruka.
