The First Two Minutes of Episode 03x11 - Oh, Alan Ball, you tricky little minx! How you love to torture fans of Eric with your dollop of compassion here, blatant a*sholery there. You're a master of deception, and for that, we love you. . . Most of the time.

A/N - My guess on what the first two minutes of episode 03x11, "There Will Be Blood", airing on August 29, 2010 will hold. This piece was written and published to FF. net on 8/23/10. As always, I don't own anything. If I did, Alexander Skarsgård would replace Sam Trammell as a top billed actor/character and Sam would go back to being a good supporting character instead of a main "I'd rather watch paint dry" character. See? Told ya' I didn't own it.

"You big bullshitter, Eric! I'm SO never trusting you again!" Sookie's cries rang out until Eric reached the very top of the stairs and shut the extra-soundproofed door.

As Eric expected, Pam was waiting for him, arms crossed, toe-tapping impatiently. He didn't wait for her to speak.

"Pam, guard her," Eric ordered gruffly while walking past her to pick up his black leather jacket.

"Aren't you at least going to let her know what the plan is?" Pam's insolent tone would have made just about any other maker angry, Eric found it endearing.

"Sookie är så bra skådespelare som hennes bror är en tänkare." (Sookie is as good an actor as her brother is a thinker.) He continued in English, "Make sure no one gets to her until I return with Russell."

Eric felt the collar of his jacket to make sure it was straight before heading out the door. As an afterthought, looked over his shoulder and mentioned to Pam, "And, Pam? Feel free to use any force necessary to restrain Bill Compton when he comes for her."

As he took off in flight, Eric relished the dulcet tones of his child's laughter.

A/N - No. This is a pure oneshot. But if you enjoyed this piece and you haven't read all of my others, click on my profile and check them out, you may just like them too. (Oh and if you do, please review those pieces! Reviews make my night more than staking Talbot, finally getting back his father's crown, and kissing Sookie makes Eric's night!)

post-A/N- Sorry if the Swedish is bad/good, I blame/credit Google Translate. If you're not sure about this "bad actor" theory, I direct you to Sookie's very first visit to Lou Pines, and Eric's dream wherein he knows Sookie is a bad singer.
