Disclaimer: No, I don't own Harry Potter. Because, I am pretty sure J.K. Rowling can buy herself a new guitar. I on the other hand, can't. Nor do I own "Letter to Me"

A/N: Yay! 12th story! I was working on this while I was sick at home, not going to school. Errgg, I hate being sick:( But, yes. I thought of this while listening to "Letter to Me" by Brad Paisley. Lovely song. This story is completly based off of that song. Though some parts i tried to change, and they sound really stupid... Like the Quidditch part. I know how dumb that sounds, but I couldn't think of anything else... Anywho, go read&review, please!

Dear 17-year-old self,

This is how I'm going to prove it's me: Look under your bed, there's a whole stack of letters that you never sent, and no one else knew you hid them.

I know it's hard. I know you're 17, and you're confused. Don't believe what Father says. Just forget him. Be yourself, fight for what you think is right, not just what is easy.

You have so much going for you, so much going right. I know when you're 17 and doubtful, it's hard to look past the war.

Pansy isn't right for you. Don't try as hard.

When you play Quidditch, make sure you stop completely when you see someone pass you quickly. Don't just move upward.

When you get a date with Astoria, make sure the tank in your muggle car is full. No, wait…on second thought, forget it. That one turns out cool.

Every time you two have a fight, don't assume you're wrong, and Father's right. He's not.

You should really thank Professor Snape, he got you out of something that could have destroyed your life.

While everyone is out having fun, you're inside studying for hours, because if you fail you're parents will kill you.

Trust me; you pass by with E's and a few O's.

You have so much up ahead. Some prejudice will die, some will grow stronger, but it'll be okay. Wait until you see your beautiful wife and son.

Don't be so hard on Potter, you'll end up friends.

Don't be so scared, it gets a whole lot better from here.

I wish you'd take Muggle Studies; it would really have come in handy.

Don't worry, just let it be.

Trust me; these are nowhere near the best years of your life.

-Draco Malfoy, age 28.

P.S. Remember, you are still alive to write this letter to me.

A/N: Jeeze, the signiture looks bad. I don't like the spacing...but whatever. That was my attempt at this...Ugh, sorry if it's a little OOC....

Review please, they mean a lot to me. Even if its a simple "cool" or "nice" I love reading them.

P.S. If you've ever reviewed any other of my stories, THANK YOU! I love you guys!
