Fight

~X~X~X~

It was January 2nd when Robin and his mentor Batman had made it back to the Wayne Mansion. Alfred was alerted that they'd arrive and the old butler sat and waited patiently. Soon enough, the two were beamed down, still dressed in their costumes to hide their identities. Alfred smiled, "Well, hello there—"

"—I let you win," Batman then said, his voice overlapping Alfred's as he talked to Robin.

The thirteen year old boy scoffed. "No way. You were under his control, I totally won."

Alfred decided to try again. "Are you two—"

"— I was under Klarion's control. Therefore, I was not fighting at my full capacity," Batman then said. "Which also means that I was able to defeat you even when I wasn't the one fighting."

Robin laughed mockingly. "I was the one who was not fighting at my full capacity. So therefore I was able to defeat you without even giving it my one-hundred percent."

Alfred shook his head and followed the two bickering heroes. "I made sandwiches in case—"

"You had to have Superboy's help," Batman then accused. "And I was fighting solo."

"So not credible. Superboy only flung me."

"Yes, but that's considered help."

"No it's not."

"Yes, it is."

"You know what I think? I think you're just jealous that I'm a thirteen year old boy and I was able to fight against you and win. No, I was able to penetrate your whelmingly penetrable logs, jack your kryptonite, which, by the way, Superman now knows you have and isn't very happy about, then I was able to defeat you. AND Superman. Like a boss."

Batman smiled. "Not jealous. Proud." Robin paused. He looked at Batman with an incredulous expression. Then, he smirked, crossed his arms, and gave a short troll-laugh. His mentor then turned to the old butler that was following them. "Alfred, why didn't you say hello?"

"Yeah Alfred, have you just been standing there?" Robin quipped.

Alfred sighed. "I suppose, sirs."

A/N:

Super short one-shot. I loved the season finale fight scene between Batman and Robin. I just loved it. And I love Robin. :D Please review, thanks for reading!
