When not in class he wears a black hoody vest over a red t-shirt, black cargo pants with red pockets and black combat boots. During combat he has a pair of black fingerless gloves that he uses to cast spells.
His mother is half fire demon from Okinawa while his father is a Marine who met her while stationed there.
His mother taught him her sword style and trained him in lightning magic while, as a fire demon, his fire magic is so naturally well developed he only needs to do an incatation if he wants to give the fire spell a boost in strength.
