The Happy Meal Toy

A/N: I went to McDonalds the other day and my two year old cousin had a happy meal. The free gift she got with it was a music box that played Crazy Frog when you press the button. She has been annoying me with it ever since – but it has helped me come up with this Fic.

Another A/N: Thanks Hobbeth for beta reading and helping me understand the differences between English and American spellings.

Disclaimer: I do not own Thunderbirds, McDonalds or Crazy Frog.

(Movieverse) I've set this when the Tracy lads were kids and Lucille is still alive:

Alan – 3 years old

Gordon – 7 years old

Virgil – 9 years old

John – 11 years old

Scott – 13 years old.

Chapter 1

Scott sighed as he shoved his heavy school bag onto his shoulders. 'Friday; no more school for two whole day', he thought cheerfully. He ran down the front steps of his high school. His eyes scanned the parked cars, and settled on a blue people carrier. his face broke into a grin. His mum had come and picked him up!

He climbed into the front of the carrier and turned to face his youngest brother who was clutching a McDonalds Happy Meal box. "Hey squirt, what have you been doing today?"

Alan grinned and his blue eyes shone with excitement. "I been to 'Donalds and I got a toy!"

"I have been," Lucille corrected the three year old.

"Scott knows that Mommy. 'Cause I too little to go on own."

Scott laughed at Alan. Suddenly, his three other brothers dove in and began to all speak at once.

"Gordon's in trouble."

"John wouldn't play soccer with me."

"I've got another piano exam coming up."

"I'm not in trouble!"

"Scott wouldn't let me sit with him at lunch."

"You're too young."

"Am not!"

"At least I didn't end up in the principal's office!"

"Hey…"

"What! Who ended up in the principal's office?" Lucille asked her now sullen children.

"Gordon did!" Virgil told her.

"Didn't!" Protested Gordon.

"Did too!"

"Did not!

"Did too!"

"Boys!" Lucille shouted to be heard above Virgil and Gordon's bickering. "We'll deal with this when your Dad gets home, understood?"

The two lads nodded. Lucille turned the radio on; the channel was playing Crazy Frog.

"Ugh, I can't stand that tune!" exclaimed Scott as he flicked the radio onto another station.

"I like the song!" protested Alan.

"Well you can listen to it later," John told Alan.

The people carrier began its long journey back to the Tracy's country house. Five minutes into the journey, Crazy Frog rang out.

"Argh! Turn the radio off!" John shouted.

Scott fumbled with the radio in his hurry to turn it off, but the music still played.

"Where's it coming from?" Scott asked as the lads began their hunt for whatever it was that the sound emitted from.

They did not, however, look at Alan who was still clutching his Happy Meal box, a smug smile on his lips. He was going to like his Happy Meal toy.
