One shot. It's just what I would have liked to happen in this scene in Divergent.

I knocked the way my mother told me. My father opened the door, as soon as I was inside I scanned around the room, Marcus was there. Without saying a word to my father or brother and marched right up to him. "You!" I screeched. Vaguely I heard my father ask me to be calm down but I ignored him. Blood roared in my ears, adrenaline zoomed through my veins and anger welled up inside me. "What did I do, Beatrice?" He asked softly. I struggled to steady my breathing, I wanted to pin him to the ground right then. I could have, I would have, if Caleb had not placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Beatrice, calm down," He cooed. "Please."

"Calm down? I will not calm down!" I shrugged him off, though my gaze never faltered from glaring at Marcus. "Do you know what he did?" This man had hurt Tobias. That was the thought that kept my anger growing. I shoved him backwards, "What did I do?" He repeated.

"Do not play dumb with me!" I lunged towards him but my father caught me by my collar and dragged me into the corner to calm down. I had still managed to punch his jaw, I saw him surrounded by the Abnegation who were shocked by my actions. I didn't care. I though he deserved a taste of his own medicine. He also clutched his side where I had clawed into him. He told me to take it easy and breathe deeply. I wasn't allowed to get up until I had successfully calmed down.

It was a full 15 minutes before I lost the urge to scream at the top of my lungs. My legs had taken on pins and needles but I just shook it off, I was Dauntless. I'd suffered worse. I calmly walked over to join the rest of the group. Marcus had a strange expression on his face, that couldn't be fear could it? "So," Caleb sighed, "What was the temper tantrum all about?"

An evil smirk made its way to my face and I couldn't fight it off so I kept it there and began to tell everyone why I was ready to rip Marcus' throat out. "Well," I began, my smirk still firmly planted, "In Dauntless initiation, we had to face our fears through simulations," My voice had an unfamiliar, vengeful tone to it, "When I asked the instructor who did mine, Four, he replied that it was more of a 'who'. I just accepted that, he didn't want to tell me, whatever."

"Not that I don't enjoy your little story but we're under attack. Is this really important?" Marcus groaned, though I could tell he was scared of where my little story was going.

"Very." I replied. "The last stage of initiation was a fear landscape; it also made you face your fears. You had to work your way through all of your fears. Four let me see his. One of them was small spaces, I wondered why he was scared and he told me he'd had punishments as a child locked in a small closet and I thought that was horrible. His last fear was a man."

"Just a man?" My father questioned. "What was he doing?"

"I think I'll let Marcus tell you. Marcus?" He said nothing, just looked through me as if I wasn't there, "I'll give you a clue." I teased, "Four's real name was Tobias and he came from Abnegation."

My father had looked emotionless the whole time until then, "Marcus? You didn't shut Tobias in a closet did you? I mean, the Erudite-"

"Were right, dad." I finished his sentence for him. "And the man in the fear landscape, it was Marcus, with a belt. That was the worst one. You had abused your son, the Erudite were acutally being truthful about that one. That's why he left Abnegation." I slowly made my way over to face him. "I thought you might be happy to know that your actions still haunt your son. He hasn't been able to get over that fear." Everyone was glaring at Marcus, but enough storytelling, I thought. We had a job to do.
