A/N: I felt like a founders drabble. Godric/Rowena. Helena born, with Godric being stepfather. Will be AU in many respects. Anyway, please enjoy! Part of the Ultimate Shipping Extravaganza on HPFC forum.

I do

(Godric POV)

Wow, talk about nerves. I've finally got her. Rowena Ravenclaw, the most beautiful person in the entire world. And she's marrying me, Godric Gryffindor. I'm the luckiest guy alive, I know it's what all future husband's say, but I am. Sure, she's got a daughter, but Helena loves me. I remember the day I met her, it was raining...

The raindrops were falling and running down my brow, soaking me. I looked up ahead to a mansion, which was my intended destination. I'm starting a school and I had heard of the great Rowena Ravenclaw, recently widowed. I ran up to the door and lifted my hand to knock when the door opened to reveal the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

Her long, black locks of hair and her elegant cheekbones, gracious smile and quite magnificent bosom made me blush. She was truly a fine woman.

"What the hell were you thinking?! You could have caught your death out there! Come inside immediately," the woman shouted at me, "and don't think that I didn't see you stare at my breasts, either! All the chivalry in men has left nowadays..."

Well, her temper matched her beauty. I followed her inside, trying not to stare at her behind on the way in. It was a magnificent place, truly. Sure, it looked about half the size of Gryffindor Manor, but still, that's the largest estate in the world.

The rest of the night was a blur, as I tried convincing her that making a school was a good idea. Eventually she agreed to it and I was very happy when she did. I met her 3 year old the next morning and fell in love immediately. That girl looked so sweet and innocent.

I stayed in the guest room of course. I was hoping my feelings for her would die down once we started seeing more of each other, but they did the opposite. She was smart, beautiful and wasn't afraid to tell it how it was. The first year of working together I thought I fell in love with her. The day after the anniversary of when we met was when I knew.

I won't bore you with details but she was sad and cried on my shoulder. I knew in that moment that I could never replace her with somebody else. And, well, that was 4 years ago. This time last year we had a massive fight, which ended up with me kissing her and admitting my love for her. She cried, telling me that she was the same.

I proposed on the spot. It was as clear as day that we were perfect for each other.

And, well, now we're here. Salazar on my right, Helga behind my love, walking down the aisle.

The ceremony was a blur, the only thing I remember is the happiness on her face as I said those two words.

"I do."

A/N2: Sorry for the non-founders speak, but I really suck at it (Like I do with writing haha). What did you think? Please drop a review. May have a follow up drabble.
