A/N I've always wanted to write a short piece about Annie Cresta's appreciation to Mags when she volunteers for her in the 75th Hunger Games. So, here it is. :)

Appreciation is something you show.
It is gratitude to one's actions that have helped you or someone you love.
That gratitude is felt from deep down.
Felt from a greater force.

Mags, you saved my life.
You saved Finnicks too, twice.
Once when you mentored him,
And once more when you volunteered for me.

If you weren't brave enough,
Brave enough to say your name.
To take my place in death for now,
Finnick would be broken, too.

He wouldn't have concentrated on himself,
On staying alive.
He'd try too much to save me,
And without him i'd be lost again.
