Momoko's Mistake

One morning, while Momoko was reading the newspaper, Momoko found an article about a new candy factory that had just opened. Unfortunately, she read too fast and skipped some parts. And it was in another city far away from Tokyo. Momoko said to herself, "I'm going to go there after school. No matter how long it takes to get there!"

After school, Momoko started to walk to the new candy store when she realized that she had to take a bus there.

"Kaoru. Miyako," she said to her friends, "I'm taking the bus to the new candy factory. Do you want to come with me?"

Miyako tugged on her pink jacket. "Actually, I was planning to go shopping," she said. "I'll see you later."

"And I'm going to play basketball and then ride my skateboard," said Kaoru.

"Oh. OK."

Momoko reached into her pocket and pulled out a hand full of dollar bills, tickets, and a pack of gum. She put the gum back, took the money and tickets, and ran to the bus stop. But just as she was going to give the guy her ticket, about twenty billion people stampeded past her. Momoko screamed as she got knocked to the ground. She stood up with that angry Hyper Blossom look in her eyes.

"Why, you crazy people-" Momoko began. But then the bus driver beeped and drove off. Momoko was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, angry. She hoped that she'd be able to catch the next bus. Yes! The next bus was coming in two minutes. If she hurried, she could catch it. After that, a crowd of people cut in front of her. Why was everyone only choosing to cut her? It was SO not fair. Momoko was a Powerpuff Z. Oops. She hadn't transformed. Momoko yelled, "STOP CUTTING ME!"

"Why is this bothering you so much?" a guy asked her.

"Um," she began, but then the bus came. Without thinking, Momoko took a flying leap onto the bus. She gave the guy her ticket and found a seat. Momoko straitened her hair bow and smoothed her pink skirt. She flipped her hair and adjusted her shoes.

Momoko jumped off the bus. She climbed the stairs to a large building. She looked up and saw a sign that said:

WELCOME TO THE CANDY STORE OF TOKYO!

"Wow," Momoko gasped. It was huge! Bigger than Miyako's (haunted) house. Momoko ran inside. She saw big jars of candy canes, peppermints, bubblegum, chocolate bars, lollipops, and more! She had never seen so much candy in her life. She turned to the person at the counter. "I read in the news paper there's a room and you can go there and see how you make the candy. Can you show me where it is?"

"Sorry, Miss, but we don't give tours around here. But there is a new candy factory that gives free samples in tours in the next town."

Then it hit her. Of course! The sign had Welcome to the candy store of Tokyo!

"Sorry," Momoko mumbled and left the store. She had a better idea how to get there. Fly! All she had to do was transform.

Hyper Blossom flew across town. After few minutes of sailing around town, she saw it. The new candy factory! She landed in front of it. It was bigger than the candy store and Miyako's (haunted) house.

Hyper Blossom came out of the candy store with about ten bags of chocolate. The tour was great, and now she couldn't wait to tell her friends. Now there was only one thing left to do. Enjoy her chocolate!
