It was a nice day in Equestria and Twilight Sparkle was very excited for Spike's birthday. She was preparing a vanilla cake with chocolate icing, Spike's favorite, along with a big breakfast, including eggs, biscuits, bacon, and pancakes. She took a big whiff, thinking about how excited everyone would be when they saw this big breakfast.
2 hours later
Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie were all waiting for Spike to wake up to surprise him. Suddenly, they heard Spike's feet walking down the stairs. They all dived under the kitchen table and waited for him. As soon as he stepped off the final step, he saw the ponies jump out and yell "Surprise!". Spike almost fell over, but regained his balance and said, "Thank you guys...".
Spike then noticed the HUGE breakfast Twilight had prepared and went over to smell it. "This smells delicious!" Spike said excitedly, his mouth watering. "Well lets dig in!" said Twilight, and at this Spike immediately grabbed a bit of everything until his plate couldn't hold anymore. Soon the others did the same and they ate and played party games all night long.
10 hours later
"Goodbye" said the ponies as they waved goodbye to Twilight and Spike. "I'm so full..." said Spike. That's ok, it's time for you to go to sleep anyway. "OK" Spike groaned as he walked over to his bed to lay down and Twilight did the same. "Goodnight" said Twilight as they both immediately drifted off to sleep.
