"I am not taking a plane to New Jersey when we can just take damn train for an hour!" I was talking at my friend of seven years, Anya she went to the most prestigious high school in our hometown. I swear it feels like everyday I am reminded that she is smarter than me. She can be very loud sometimes, especially when it comes to something she doesn't agree with. She can be very belittling sometimes and sometimes feels the need to make herself more superior not only academic wise but sexually and physically. Sometimes I wish I could stop being friends with her, but I have known her at her worst. She was bullied almost her entire time in middle school. It was basically an ugly duckling type of story. I was her friend during those times. Now she thinks she just better, smarter, and prettier than me. I mean she is smarter academic wise, but she is more into books than I am. I think the only reason why I am a still friend with her is because she has been through a lot and she is like this because of that.
"I don't know why Jay would recommend taking a plane when we live literally an hour 30 minutes from New jersey" Anya stated. "I will look up train tickets for everyone" Anya immediately started typing away on her laptop. We were lounging around in my bedroom planning a fun week at the beach. "Whose all coming to this trip anyway?" I said as threw popcorn in the air and missing." Well, it will be me, you, Jay, Jay's girlfriend, a couple kids from the volunteer program, and Will. Will and Anya used to "talk" about a year ago but now him and I are on the verge of dating. Normally I wouldn't go against girl code and talk to a guy that my friend used to talk too. But she basically forced him on me, plus she had a whole boyfriend in between the time. So I really don't feel that bad. Plus and I quote " I need a man that goes to my school." She said as we were discussing if she still liked him or not.
Will goes to the same college as me and get this lived in the same dorm building as me last semester. Internally I am squealing like thirteen years old at a Justin Bieber concert. "cool..I hope he likes the beach because I love the beach."
"Alright we are leaving in two days so lets head to the mall and get some things"
Will is about 6'3, my self-conscious is biting her fist right now like tall guys are hard to come around these days.
