Wendy, even as I write this letter, my pen dies. If there is a change of color, do forgive me. I have often wondered what it must be like, to be so easily consumed by colds, even in the summer. I hope one day to find better medication for children like you. It is very hard to write this letter, even though the words seem to come to me naturally. I, at this very moment, wish I had a picture of you, as the last time I saw your face...
...it was raining, and everyone was wearing black clothing. But you...you were wearing a vibrant blue sundress, and your blonde cornfield hair looked beautiful, compared to the sun, which was blocked by an army of dark clouds. I watched as they carried you away in that fine crafted box, the most expensive wood and marble, I found out later. I remember crying in Diana and Clara's arms. I also remember waking up the next day, all alone. Everyone tried to cheer me up, except Eleanor. She knew unhappiness, and how only you could make yourself happy. But, they helped a lot, especially Diana and Clara. I also remember...when you saved me, when we first met, when we first kissed...
...Everything. And I also remember when the fairytale went bad.
