Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha and I don't profit from this. This is just for fun and relaxation.
Authors note: This is just a drabble that I wrote to get a break from all the other stuff I'm supposed to do. It's the first time I've written a Kag/Sess even though I'm painfully addicted to them myself. So this is my first try. WARNING! This is… This is fluff.
They stood there in the middle of the night in a forest where nothing but her own nervous fluttering heartbeats were heard. Their chests only inches apart, his face hard and unreadable while hers was far to open and vulnerable. It almost hurt to look at her, but at the same time he couldn't look away.
When he finally spoke it was low and rough. As if he was struggling to get the words out. He wanted her to hear them, yet he was afraid to confirm them. His wish, his longing, his weakness.
His sin.
He meant every word. She was sure of it for they were few and far between, well chosen and thought out before opening his mouth. But it was so hard for her so accept them, hear and understand them. They were just so far fetched and unreal for someone as simple and painfully human like her.
Her humanity… That was her only fault he had said. So short and fleeting. So painfully fragile. So breakable and emotional. But it was the very thing that made her all the more precious.
"Come with me".
It was more of a demand than a question. All in a typical Sesshoumaru fashion. But she couldn't bring herself to care, or even mind the implication that she didn't have a chose in the matter.
"Yes".
And she knew then, that after that night nothing would ever be the same. Not after seeing his first hesitant smile before he kissed her.
